Espio x Grape: A Day at the Park
Grape was just finishing getting ready when she heard a knock at her door. She smiled and hurried to open it. When she got to the door she took a deep breath before opening it. She quickly turned the handle and pulled. She jumped with excitement at who it was. "Espio!" Grape almost shouted triumphantly.
"Heya Grape." Espio said coolly as he smiled back. "Ready to go?"
"You bet Espie!" Grape smiled as she stepped through the door. They walked away from Grapes house together happily. "So Espio which park are we going to?" Grape was walking close to Espio while they talked.
"It's a private one that I bought from someone, I go there to meditate often. The park is a beautiful Japanese garden really." Espio smiled lightly to Grape.
"Wow, that sounds really pretty." Grape looked up trying to imagine what it would look like.
"We will be there soon it just around the corner through a gate." Espio took Grape's hand and led her to the gate and opened it. They walked through hand in hand and Espio closed the gate behind them. A few steps away and all sign that they were in a city melted away. The walls stretched high with flora to hide the buildings. The grass was soft and cut to perfection. There were a few cherry blossom trees and a small pond with a man made stream going through with a arched bridge over the water. A small hut was open and near the pond at the top of a small incline.
"It's beautiful, Espio!" Grape looked around in wonder showing her excitement greatly. Espio smiled and pulled her a little closer.
"I'm glad you like it, Tails did a bit of work here but it will always look and feel like this. I owe him a lot for cleaning this place up. I decided on the look though, I found it peaceful." Espio kept smiling as he led Grape up to the open hut. He loved how this girl could just keep him smiling as nothing has ever before. Once they got inside it was apparent that the hut fit the theme of the Japanese garden. The doors were able to slide shut and there were no windows. The doors were usually left open in place of the windows. In the main room there was a small fire pit in the middle for warmth and cooking. There was also a few mats stacked in the corner with various candles on different shelves. There were three other rooms, a bathroom with a bath and a shower in it, a bedroom with a king size bed and more candles, and a small room with supplies for cooking. "I was planning that we stayed the night here Grape, if you wanted to."
"Really? Oh Espio I would love that!" Grape hugged Espio tightly with excitement. The day was getting better and better. Midday passed quickly as the lovers cuddled, talked, and laughed it away. It was well into the night and the couple were tiring after a delicious meal.
"Hey Grape would you like to look at the stars before we call it a night?" Espio just finished putting the cooking supplies back.
"Sure that sounds wonderful." Grape stretched. Espio took her hand and led her outside. He held her close as they looked up. Grape's mouth opened slightly at what she saw. "I didn't know there were so many stars, and they are so bright!" Espio smiled and held Grape tighter.
"Well Tails did work here, he was able to do something so we could see all the stars." Espio turned to Grape smiling. He looked at her with a certain look and it was obvious his goal. Grape blushed lightly but closed her eyes taking in a breath. Espio leaned in and was shaking slightly. He kept getting closer until he could feel Grape's soft breathing. He froze for a moment, the he quickly embraced her and buried his face in her shoulder. Grape opened her eyes and frowned slightly but hugged him back and a smile drew from her face again. They let go of each other a few moments later. "Lets call it a night Grape." Espio led Grape back into the bedroom where they climbed into bed together. They lay facing each other with a small amount of space between them.
"Espio?"
"Yeah?"
"Your to far away." Espio smiled and he scooted closer and wrapped his arms around Grape. Grape lifted up her head and kissed Espio. Espio blushed in surprise but held Grape closer with closed eyes. They shared their first kiss for several moments before parting. The lovers looked at each other passionately before they fell asleep holding each other close. The night air was perfect and the ambient noise was calming. For the first night shared for lovers, it was an amazing one.
